Karen Routt, Director of Programs,
holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Assessment. As the Program Manager at School on Wheels, Karen oversees tutoring and educational advocacy services for our K-12 students living in both emergency and transitional shelter locations. She meets with parents and students, develops tutoring curriculum, supports and advises program staff, and communicates with classroom teachers all to meet the educational needs of our very diverse and vulnerable group of students. With nine years of experience as a middle school and high school math teacher, she brings a true passion for equality in education to our students.
