Karen Routt, Program Coordinator, holds a BS in Education and a M Ed in Curriculum and Instruction.    As the Program Manager at School on Wheels, Karen oversees tutoring and educational services for our K-12 students living in both emergency and transitional shelter locations.  She meets with parents and students, develops tutoring curriculum, supports and advises program staff, and communicates with classroom teachers all to meet the educational needs of our very diverse and vulnerable group of students.  With nine years of experience as a former middle school and high school math teacher, Karen brings a true passion for equality in education to our students.  Armed with a can-do attitude, Karen strives to provide all parents and students with the necessary tools for academic success.   For internship interest and programming, email Karen.
