With the help of our donors and volunteers, School on Wheels provides a continuum of academic care that impacts the entire Greater Indianapolis Area.

 

 

 

 

School on Wheels plays a significant role in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

- Provides backpacks, school supplies, school uniforms, educational student assessment and one-on-one after-school tutoring to homeless children.
- Over 400 volunteers provide free tutoring and friendly educational support at 12 locations.

- Facilitates the process for homeless students to receive high school mentoring and college scholarships.

Project LIFE: Learn Independence and Freedom through Education.

Our mentoring program steers homeless students on the path toward academic improvement and enrichment.

- Matches middle school and high school students with academic mentors.
- Through goal based action plans, steers students on a path to graduation with a CORE 40 diploma.
