School on Wheels provides help and hope to homeless kids in Indianapolis.
Learn how we benefit:
Our kids receive new school supplies, a new backpack and new school uniforms – all the items they need to be prepared to learn. We provide FREE tutoring and mentoring to homeless students. Does it work? Our kids improve their grades, attendance, behavior and overall attitude towards learning.
Students in our program are given a new outlook on life and hope for their future. Our tutors play a serious role in helping our kids get their homework done, improve lagging skills and build the confidence needed to succeed well beyond their time with School on Wheels.
