There are several ways to support School on Wheels! Below are ways that you can become involved financially and how your donation will support School on Wheels.
Your donation to School on Wheels is much appreciated and vital to the success and operation of the programs. Below our examples of how your contribution will provide ongoing support! Your donation of:
$25 Provides a criminal background check & processing for one volunteer.
$75 Provides one backpack filled with school supplies.
$100 Outfits one homeless child with two school uniforms.
$250 Supplies resources and training for one volunteer tutor.
$500 Helps provide one week of tutoring at one homeless shelter.
$1,000 Connects one volunteer tutor with a child for a year of free tutoring.
$2,500 Provides K-8th grade curriculum for 12 tutoring locations for one semester.

Platinum Level
$20,000 – Sponsor a tutoring location
Choose one of 12 School on Wheels tutoring locations in Indianapolis to sponsor: Dayspring Center, Holy Family Shelter, Holy Family Transitional Housing, Coburn Place Safe Haven, Barton House, Lilly House, Salvation Army, Wellspring Cottage, W.I.N.G.S., Interfaith Hospitality Network, Wheeler Mission Care Center, and Indianapolis Public School #14.
Banner with name and/or logo prominently displayed at the tutoring location selected.
Name and/or logo displayed in 2008-2009 newsletters, annual report, and promotional materials (distributed to 3,000+ supporters and friends of School on Wheels).
Name and/or logo displayed in one of four e-newsletter.
Logo placed on School on Wheels Web site with link to your Web site.
Inclusion in press/news releases.

Gold Level
$5,000 – Sponsor a room
Choose a room to sponsor at the School on Wheels office: Volunteer Room; Uniform Room; Training Room; Founder and CEO office; Program Director office.
Sign with name and/or logo prominently displayed in the selected room at the School on Wheels office.
Name and/or logo displayed in 2008-2009 newsletters, annual report, and promotional materials (distributed to 3,000+ supporters and friends of School on Wheels).
Name and/or logo displayed in one of four e-newsletter.
Logo placed on School on Wheels Web site with link to your Web site.

Silver Level
$2,500 – Sponsor a month of tutoring
Choose any month to sponsor one-on-one tutoring for Indianapolis’ homeless children at one of our 12 locations. School-age children living in area homeless shelters receive free tutoring and educational mentoring from School on Wheels. Middle school students are linked with programs that offer college preparedness and free college tuition.

- Name and/or logo displayed in 2008-2009 newsletters, annual report, and promotional materials (distributed to 3,000+ supporters and friends of School on Wheels).
- Logo placed on School on Wheels Web site with link to your Web site during selected month of sponsorship.

- Indianapolis Business Journal advertisement thanking your company for sponsoring free tutoring for homeless children in your selected month. One advertisement will run in May listing all sponsors and their month.
Bronze Level
$1,000 – Sponsor a Volunteer Tutor
Name displayed in 2008-2009 newsletters, annual report, and promotional materials (distributed to 3,000+ supporters and friends of School on Wheels).

School on Wheels is always in need of a variety of in-kind donations to ensure that homeless children are receiving everything they need to be successful in school. These donations include; school supplies, educational activities for tutoring, backpacks and school uniform clothing. Check out our wish list to find out what is needed.
